Ok I have to write 10 poems for english class by the end of the year. I am not a poet so don’t be mean. Here it is. What do you think?
The abandon forest shows no mercy,
You may feel alone but you are mistaken,
The woodlands are filled with the living,
The vibrant trees begin to collapse,
Those that wander aimlessly are helpless,
The broad trees and shrubbery blur all,
To escape is challenging in ways,
To battle your way through dense webs,
Through dark and shivering places of the unknown,
It then becomes a maze of repetition,
Then and only then do you find it,
You will then find your passage of escape,
You will then find all you desire,
You will then find your freedom.
You gotta be kidding me thats long I have had to read poetry that is pages long.

If I’m right it sounds like you are trying to develop a sense of hopelessness in the beginning. It’s not bad in my opinion. Your assignment almost sounds like fun.
